DockPod is free forever for solo use — no credit card, no trial countdown. Pro unlocks the features you actually reach for once you're running things in production for a team.

Free

  • Full container/image/volume/network management
  • Live logs and live stats
  • Paste & Deploy — unlimited
  • Git Deployments — up to 3 projects, last 5 builds of history each
  • Database provisioning — up to 3 databases (Postgres, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, ClickHouse, DragonflyDB), up to 3 linked to any single app, backup on demand
  • Email notifications
  • Full MCP tool access, same limits as the web UI (Free-tier caps apply to create_database/link_database_to_app/create_deploy_app too)

Pro

Everything in Free, plus:

  • Unlimited Git Deployment projects, build history, and provisioned/linked databases
  • Rollback to a previous successful build
  • Optimize — scale replicas and adjust memory/CPU/pids limits on a running Git Deployment app, applied live with no rebuild
  • Container Resources — bump the memory/CPU/pids limits on any container on the host live, for emergency vertical scaling — not persisted, unlike Optimize above
  • Telegram, Slack, and Discord notifications
  • Scheduled tasks — cron-based pruning, restarts, and watchtower-style auto-update
  • Multi-user — invite teammates with admin/member roles, plus an account-wide audit log
  • Full MCP action-tool access (start/stop/restart, trigger deploys, exec)

Students & Open Source Maintainers

Students and open source project maintainers can request a free Pro licenseopen an issue on GitHub with a bit of context (student: your school + expected graduation; maintainer: a link to the project) and we'll get you set up. Licenses are still minted and reviewed manually, same as a paid one — see Activating a License below for what happens once you have a key.

Activating a License

Go to Settings → General → License and paste your key. Licenses are Ed25519-signed and verified offline — DockPod doesn't need to phone home to check validity after activation.

Licenses are also locked to a specific machine. Settings → General → License shows this server's Machine ID — send it to whoever issues your license before it can be minted; a key without that exact ID embedded in it will be rejected on activation.

Plan limits (the numbers above) are fixed and read-only in the app itself — there's no self-service way to edit your own Free-tier limits, by design.

Released under a commercial-friendly freemium license.
